Christmas and Pre New Year 2007

Christmas Eve we had a delightful evening with Northside Christian College friends and starting the festive feasting... The feasting continued Christmas day with friends at our home along with the gifts, decorations and turkey.....

Boxing Day - yep it is called Boxing day here - we spent at one of our favorite jaunts, Tinchi Tamba Nature Reserve on the Pine River and we did this in a true multi cultural style with Portuguese, Italians, Aussies and South Africans. A lovely "family" day was had by all of us.

As I reflect on the new year and what we have achieved, I realize that 2007 is nearly over for the Cullens. In many ways it has been a harrowing year, but also one of growth both spiritually and as a family - thwart with realizations about our future! I often sigh this sigh of relief at being here but as a family we have made an active decision to turn our back on the Country, SA, and embrace all that Australia has to offer us for 2008. I know the favour of the Lord is with us as we embrace 2008. We wish our family and friends peace, love and joy and I pray that God would be close to you all!

This picture was taken at Bribie Island on 28th December - what a lovely little break for my family having Brett home "resting" a little......
